For over a decade, Ameresco has provided cost-effective and environmentally responsible energy efficiency and energy management solutions for clients including federal, state and local governments, and K-12 school districts. Ameresco helps its clients achieve their energy efficiency goals by providing upgrades to energy infrastructure, energy-efficient retrofits to existing systems and development, construction and operation of renewable energy plants.

Ameresco is helping New Castle County achieve its goals of reducing energy costs and carbon emissions by implementing comprehensive energy-management solutions that are projected to save the county more than $450,000 annually.

To identify opportunities for cost savings and infrastructure improvements, Ameresco worked with New Castle County to perform custom energy audits on 20 county-owned facilities. Ameresco found opportunities to improve efficiency through solar installations, modernization of energy management systems, installation of efficient heating and cooling systems and upgrades to lighting, ventilation and HVAC equipment.

Throughout each phase of the project, NCC and Ameresco Delware were committed to providing equal opportunities for minority- and women-owned businesses, successfully reaching 85% local participation on this project. Ameresco Delaware is committed to creating green, sustainable jobs. As part of tis initiative, Ameresco has created a site for local businesses and contractors in Delaware and the region to register their company and receive informationon upcoming opportunities and RFPs.
